BRIDGES is a Cameroonian non-profit dedicated to equipping the next generation with skills, mentorship, and opportunities to protect our ocean and build sustainable livelihoods.
Who We Are and Why We Exist
Founded in Cameroon, BRIDGES was born from the lived experience of limited access to environmental education and opportunities in ocean sciences. We work to bridge these gaps by bringing knowledge, mentorship, creativity, and sustainable solutions directly into classrooms and communities.
We are a member of the Blue Thread Network and an implementing organization for Blue Schools in Cameroon.

Ocean Splash Academy
Many children and young people in coastal communities grow up with limited access to safe recreational spaces, environmental education, and meaningful connection to the ocean. This gap contributes to fear of water, low swimming skills, weak ocean stewardship, and a lack of creative, healthy activities that build confidence and awareness.
Ocean Splash Academy was created to change that. We offer accessible holiday classes, swim lessons, sip-and-paint sessions, and outdoor environmental activities that help youth learn, connect with nature, and grow into empowered, environmentally conscious citizens.
